Writing Tutorial Services

Welcome to the Writing Tutorial Services's (WTS) site for Online Tutorials. Our Online Tutorial is meant to support the writing of students who do not have access to our sites on the Norfolk, VA main campus or the Virginia Beach, VA branch campus, in other words, students outside the Hampton Roads area. The online tutorial is an asynchronous experience in which the student electronically submits a paper to WTS and the tutor spends the appointed hour reviewing the paper. The student writer does not have to be present. After one-hour, the tutor will stop the review process and return the document with comments within an hour. Therefore, you should receive your reviewed document within two hours of your appointment time. You can make an appointment by... Calling WTS (757.683.4013) and scheduling a time when you want a tutor to review your paper. You will then be responsible for submitting your paper through this page prior to the scheduled appointment. If your paper is not submitted by this time, you will be marked as a "no show." Submitting your paper using this page. Once we receive your email, we will schedule you for the next available hour; this could be the same day or it can be a week out. The tutors will then send you an email informing you when your scheduled appointment is. If the scheduled appointment time does not work for you, please notify us as soon as possible.
