The Old Dominion University Concert Choir consists of approximately 60 auditioned singers at the graduate and undergraduate level. The choir has been heard extensively throughout the region. They have performed at the National Cathedral, Washington D.C., St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Carnegie Hall in New York City. In May 2005 the Choir toured Tokyo, Japan, where they recorded an album with the Japanese Air Self Defense Force Central Band, honoring heroism during WW II. The University Choir has premiered works by Adolphus Hailstork, Daniel Pinkham, John Dayve, Stephen Melillo and numerous local and student composers. This group of singers has been under the direction of Dr. Nancy Klein since 1986.
