I'm Tim Gorde and I'm the President of ODUMUN. I'm a senior majoring in History and Political Science. I plan on going to law school after graduation. This is my 9th year doing MUN. My goals this year are to release all previous administration's torture memos, ensure all officers pay taxes, solve the Somali pirate crisis and tackle the budget deficit.

I'm thrilled to be back for another year in the SG office! I had a blast last year running the '09 conference as a USG and I've got big plans for the 2010 ODUMUNC. I'm currently a senior majoring in English with an emphasis in creative writing. When not feverishly planning the '10 conference with my dedicated USGs, I enjoy photography, theatre, Audrey Hepburn movies and playing frisbee with the official sponsor of the SG office: my dog Apollo. All future delegates take note--the key to winning the SG Award is to ask her to swing dance anytime during the conference...like during the delegate dance, at karaoke, or in the middle of Tim Gorde's committee session.

Hello, my name is Jason and I am an Under-Secretary General and the Training Coordinator for the ODU Model U.N. Society.
I am a Junior, majoring in International Studies and I have a minor in Spanish. I will be in charge of making sure our dias members are prepared for our 2010 conference and that our new members know the rules and motions of the conferences that we will be going to. I cannot wait to chair one of our fully staffed committees this coming year!

I'm a senior at ODU majoring in Political Science with a minor in Communications. My favorite thing to do is have political discussions so joining MUN has been a great outlet for my obsession! I am not entirely sure what life has in store for me after college but I have been particularly interested in African American studies and its associations with international relations. I love writing and talking and that basically sums up my existence at the moment!

I am in my third year at Old Dominion University and in the Model United Nations Society. As Assistant Secretary Treasurer, I handle registration, society monies, and help with the logistics of running a conference and making sure the society accounting is maintained. I handle badges, registrations, certificates, and other tasks that help keep the conferences organized. MUN is not just a great opportunity to work within a more international setting, but also an opportunity to be involved as more than just a participant at conferences, which makes my position an asset to the society.

I am a senior Majoring in International Studies, with a minor in Psychology. Originally from Cameroon, I am fluent in French, English, and one African language, bandjoun. I also know a little Spanish, and some words of German. I enjoy shopping, reading, watching movies, listening to music, and have recently taken an interest in baking. I have been involved with ODUMUN since I became a freshman at ODU, and this year, I will be serving the society as Assistant Secretary Treasurer. I am a double minor in political science and European studies. I am an avid traveler with a chronic case of itchy feet. After college I plan on working in international affairs using my French and Arabic. I’ve lived overseas almost all my life so MUN is a good club for me because it keeps me involved in global issues.
