* If ODUMUN receives your school’s completed registration form and $65 registration fee by 2 October 2009, you are guaranteed one of your top country choices.
Important Financial Information
The registration fee is non-refundable. For refund of 80 percent of delegation, delegate or additional faculty sponsor fees, requests must be submitted in memo format explaining in detail the refund request. The formal request must be received by the ODUMUNC Secretary-General no later than 15 January 2010 at odumun@odu.edu or at the Society mailing address.
No refunds requests, including those for individual delegates, are considered after the refund deadline except for documented sickness or medical emergency, or official school closings due to weather. ODUMUN reserves the right to bill the appropriate person(s) or agency should the aforementioned refund guidelines not be followed.
In the event a school drops an entire country delegation, please notify ODUMUN as soon as possible. The above stated refund policies apply.
As part of Old Dominion University, ODUMUN is subject to all University and Commonwealth of Virginia requirements, policies and procedures and as such may require additional support documentation for the payment of refunds. Credits are not offered.
A note on payments of ODUMUNC fees: ODUMUN prefers to receive school checks, but certified money orders and cash are also accepted. Please make all checks to “ODU Model United Nations Society.” Credit cards are not accepted.
Refund Policy
Refunds are offered only for cancellations received no later than January 15th, 2010. If participants are prevented from arriving due to inclement weather (official school closing) or medical problems, partial credit can be extended for participation at the next scheduled ODU Model UN Conference.
