In 1984, the ODUMUN Conference for high schools was held in a hotel for the first time as the number of participating students exceeded 500. By 1988, the conference was attended by 81 high schools coming from 10 U.S. States and counting more than 1,000 participating students.

All conference activities will take place at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel. A host of amenities are available to guests, including comfortable lodging, a pleasant atmosphere, and a place where participants can work to ensure successful and productive committee sessions. And of course both students and faculty enjoy Conference festivities, informative lectures, and relaxation.

A special room rate of $99 per night, excluding taxes, is extended to all conference participants. To be guaranteed the discount, hotel reservations must be made by 14 January 2013.
