Aaron Karp is faculty sponsor of the ODU Model United Nations Society and Lecturer in Political Science. He is a consultant to the UN Secretary-General for weapons proliferation and co-editor of the journal Contemporary Security Policy. He is very proud to support ODU Model UN without having to rely on mood-altering drugs. |

Alan Rogers is the Assistant Director of the ODU Model United Nations Program. He is a recent graduate of Old Dominion, having majored in International Studies with a minor in Political Science. Mr. Rogers proudly supports the Society in a variety of ways to ensure projects are completed and goals are achieved. He was involved with Model UN in high school and is a former officer with ODUMUN. In his free time, he partakes in a multitude of non-illegal extracurricular activities, particularly any of the outdoor variety. |

Stephen Magu teaches undergraduate political science courses on International Organizations. Stephen holds a B.Ed (Arts) degree from Kenyatta University, Kenya, and MSW degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He taught German for four years in a High School, and two years at the Kenya Polytechnic in Nairobi, Kenya. During his graduate studies at Washington University, he was an intern at after school programs and community development organizations in St. Louis and upon graduating, worked in Washington DC for a community-based mental health organization. His research interests include International and Domestic Economic Development, International Organizations and their relevance to Third World Countries, African Foreign Policy and International Volunteering. During his free time, he plays soccer, volleyball, board games, watches movies and listens to R&B, soul & country music. Oh - and overcomes the time difference to talk to his family in Kenya. |

Valerie Sprouse is a Graduate student in the Graduate Program for International Studies at Old Dominion University and works as a student worker for the Old Dominion University Model United Nations. She received her BA in International Studies from Old Dominion University and has worked with the Model United Nations since 2004 in various positions including Secretary-General of the Old Dominion University Model United Nations High School Conference in 2007. Her hobbies include traveling, dancing, reading and learning about other cultures. |
