   JAPN 250 Kanji I

2. Required courses (8 credit hours):
   JAPN 311 Advanced Japanese Language and Culture I (4 credits)
   JAPN 312 Advanced Japanese Language and Culture II (4 credits)
3. Electives (6 credit hours from any two different subject areas listed below):
   ECON 454/554 Developmental Economics
   FLET 310 Faces of Japan
   H&PE 497 Theory of Martial Arts
   HIST 337 Early Japanese History
   HIST 338U Japan's Era of Transformation
   MGMT 465 Korean & Japanese Management
   PHIL 485 Japanese Religion and Philosophy
   POLS 436 Japanese Politics
   TOPICS COURSES (Any topics course dealing with Japan in any discipline can be applied toward the minor. Advisor's approval is required.)
