Welcome to the Work and Professional Studies (WPS) program in the College of Arts and Letters! This Bachelor of Science (BS) in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) degree program at Old Dominion University provides you the opportunity to integrate coursework from a variety of disciplines in order to complete a degree that will be most relevant to your future career. You choose a course of study that meets your unique objectives and interests.

Coursework from departments across the University are available for you to combine in a way that is most relevant for your desired professional pursuits. The curriculum centers on understandings of workplace dynamics along with applied coursework that gets you actively engaged in professional enterprise. If you are a transfer or returning student with upper division credits, we offer a variety of options for integrating your previous course of study toward completing your degree. We can evaluate your completed coursework for equivalent credit and work with you to chart a course for successfully completing your degree.
