Note: This Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies - Grade PK-6 or PK-3 Teacher Preparation prepares students for entry into the following accelerated graduate programs
in the Darden College of Education:
Early Childhood Education (PK-3):
Early Childhood Education Graduate Program
Special Education Graduate Program
Graduate Admission Guidelines:
*A minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required for admission, continuance, and graduation
- A Bachelor of Science degree through the College of Arts and Letters in Interdisciplinary Studies, Teacher Preparation Concentration.
- A 2.8 cumulative GPA is required; no grade below a C- in the content courses and Professional Education courses will be accepted for admission into the Darden College of Education.
- Passing PRAXIS I scores.
- Submitted a Teacher Education Application Form.
- Satisfactory scores on Graduate Record Exam or Miller Analogy Test.
