Over the years there have been an increasing number of students creating Individualized Integrative Studies Degree programs in areas related to the music business and / or production areas. While many of these students emphasized some area of performance, they saw the need to expand their knowledge to areas that would broaden their understanding of the business and production areas related to music and their career opportunities. To respond to this demand, we have created a more formalized program to make the course of study for these students more predictable and coherent.  Bringing together the study of music, various areas of business, and mass communication and technologies of music production, the B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies Emphases in Music Business / Production Track provides students three options:

(1) Music Business
(2) Music Production and
(3) Music Business / Production.

The Individualized Integrative Studies Core (IDS Courses), Music Core (MUSC) and Business Core of each track are the same.
