Changing Gallery             Katie Hudnall: the Texture of Imperfection

Katie Hudnall's anthropomorphic sculptures and drawings simultaneously reference a history of craft and a contemporary dialogue about identity and relationships. Hudnall's works are a blatant mastery of scale; they beg the viewer to come inside, to slow down and touch. Hudnall's work inhabits a dark and lovely landscape dominated by creatures that function as tools to see what hides inside each of us. Hudnall is Assistant Professor of Wood at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.

Opening reception 7 p.m. Jan. 14
